My primary job is working as a software engineer for a medical equipment manufacturer. I specialize in manufacturing and test software. I've also done stints in the disk drive industry and in product firmware development. I am a middle-aged white dude, if such generalities matter to you. I call myself a liberal libertarian. That is to say, a tad bit to the left of the center of the libertarian area of the world's smallest political test (If you don't know what that is, do a google search). I used to be far more lefty in orientation, but have become disillusioned with politics the older I get. Besides, libertarians are more fun to talk to than run of the mill Democrats or Republicans.
