Fourth Time's the Charm!
On September 28th, Space-X reached orbit on their 4th attempt with the Falcon 1 rocket. The payload for the flight was a 165 kg aluminum chamber, which remains attached to the second stage. The eliptical orbit is 500 km by 700 km, with a 9.2 degree inclination. This means it will be nigh unto invisible in the United States, except perhaps from South Point in Hawaii, where it's greatest height will be between 8 and 3 degrees above the horizon, depending on which part of the orbit is encountered there. At any rate, Congratulations to SpaceX!
